John Charles Minyo

John Charles Minyo, 76, of Portsmouth died Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Charlton Memorial Hospital of Fall River, MA. John was born June 29, 1941 in Coaldale, PA. He is the son of the late Michael and the late Mary (Pandosh) Minyo. He married his wife Cheryle in 1973. John worked for many years at Gleeson's Package Store. He was also a lifetime member of the Seaconnet Sportsman Club in Portsmouth.He is survived by his wif: Cheryle (Gleeson) Minyo, one daughter Katherine Minyo of Portsmouth and two sons John Charles Minyo II and his wife Andrea of Portsmouth and Matthew David Minyo of Portsmouth, one sister: Susan Driskel of Virginia Beach, VA; and six grandchildren : Michael, Jacob, Victoria, Jesse, Rowan, and Harrison.Calling hours will be Sunday, December 17, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI.A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 18 at 10:00 am in St. Barnabas Church, 1697 East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI.
