Judith Ann Sullivan

Judith Ann Sullivan, 63, of Middletown died Monday, March 27, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Sullivan was born April 9, 1953 in Newport, RI. She is the daughter of the late Everett W. and the late Joan Marie (Fontaine) Smith. She was married to William "Biddy" Sullivan for 22 years. Judy was a 1971 graduate of Rogers High School. She was an avid softball player for most of her adult life. She worked at various places on Aquidneck Island, such as Avanti Corporation, Promptus, Raytheon and most recently, G.V.I. She enjoyed camping, hanging out by the pool, but enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren most of all. She is survived by her husband: William "Biddy" Sullivan, her daughter Sherri McLeish and her husband James and their children Brynn and Cameron of Middletown. She is also survived by her sisters; Loreen Baker of Newport, Wendy Couturier and her husband Gerry of Little Compton, RI, her step mother Phyllis Smith, and her nephews, Matthew Smith and family from Ohio, Wayne Smith Jr of Portsmouth, and her niece Delia Carpenter of Newport. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Wayne and Stephen Smith.A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday April 4, 2017 at 9:00am in St. Lucy's Church 909 West Main Road in Middletown.Burial will be private.
