Kathleen Cordeiro

Kathleen Cordeiro, 72, of Middletown, passed away at home on Saturday, November 24, 2018 after a courageous 17-year battle with breast cancer. Born in Newport, she was the daughter of the late John and Betty (Lyon) ONeill. Kathleen was the wife of John Cordeiro.


Beside her husband John, she leaves her children Jonathan Cordeiro of Naples, FL, Kimberly Maratto and her husband Richard and their children Sophie and Lindsay all of Riverside. She is also survived by her brother Richard ONeill and his wife Barbara of Newport, their sons Patrick ONeill and his wife Brenna, and Conor ONeill and his wife Kate, along with many other nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. Everyone who knew Kathy loved her infectious smile and positive outlook on life.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.
