Kurt G. Nelson

Mr. Kurt Nelson, 52, of Middletown, Rhode Island, passed away on November 4, 2018.

Born in West Point, NY, Kurt was the son of the late Carl Nelson and Kathleen (Gleave) Nelson of Middletown.

Kurt is survived by his daughter Tegan Nelson of San Antonio, TX and his son Matthew Nelson of Middletown, as well as his mother Kathleen Nelson.

Kurt was a graduate of Middletown High School. For several years he worked for a private estate in Bar Harbor, Maine, and in various local restaurants. For the last several years, he has been a driver for Ocean State Job Lot. In his free time, Kurt was an avid gardener and enjoyed making trip to Boston for games, but his favorite was the Red Sox.

The family will be hosting family and friends on Saturday, November 10 from 3:00-5:00pm at the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.
