Lacie C. Parks

Lacie Charlotte (Johnson) Parks, age 100, of Newport died Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Royal Middletown Nursing Center of Middletown, RI. Mrs. Parks was born April 25, 1917 in New York, NY. She is the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Sally (Guy) Johnson. Lacie is a graduate of Rogers High School class of 1935 also Apex School of hairdressing in New York, NY. Lacie worked for many years and retired as a hair dresser, later she worked for Transcon and later Newport Hospital. She is a former member of The Edward King Senior Center, the Order of the Eastern Star, and a member of the Jehovah Witness Congregation.She is survived by her children Lacie R. Patterson of Desoto, TX; Vernon L. Parks U.S. Navy Retired (Helen) of Virginia Beach, VA, and Christopher G. Parks (Connie) of Boston, MA . As well as 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.Services will be private per Mom Parks request.In lieu of flowers donations in Lacie's name may be made to www.jw.org
