Louis Thomas Dagrosa

Portsmouth, - Louis Thomas Dagrosa, 85, of Quaker Hill Lane Portsmouth, formerly of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, died Tuesday, September 17, 2002 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI.He was the husband of the late Dorothy Black Dagrosa. Born in Atlantic City, NJ on September 12, 1917, he was the son of the late Anthony and Antoinette Dandrea Dagrosa.Mr. Dagrosa was a 1939 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. He worked at Gulf Oil as a Research Chemist retiring after 40 years. He is survived by his son Richard Dagrosa of Portsmouth, RI, his daughter Dorothy Louise Smith of Haddonfield, NJ, his sister Rose Crosson of Sewell, NJ, two granddaughters Rebecca Smith of Haddonfield, NJ, and Elizabeth Harris of Little Compton, RI, his grandson Richard Dagrosa of Philadelphia, PA, one great grandson Langdon Harris of Little Compton, RI and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a time to be announced later. Arrangements are by the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.
