Lucille Marie Moreau Petrucci

Lucille Marie Moreau Petrucci, 90, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2024. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 26 years, Rudolph “Rudy” Petrucci. 

Born on September 20, 1934, in Providence, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late Cecile (Chartier) Moreau and Eugene Joseph Moreau. 

Lucille graduated from Saint John’s Academy in Pawtucket, RI. She also graduated from Rhode Island College with a Bachelor of Science degree and a master’s degree. She spent her entire career as a school psychologist and resource teacher in the Pawtucket and Providence, RI school systems.

In her retirement years, Lucille and Rudy spent winters in Scottsdale, Arizona and summers in Newport, Rhode Island. Lucille was a devout Catholic and longtime parishioner at St. Lucy’s in Middletown, Rhode Island and Our Lady of Joy in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Lucille is survived by her sister, Constance Moreau Plumb of Portsmouth, RI and brother Eugene Joseph Moreau Jr. of Florida as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Committal Service will be held at Notre Dame Cemetery, Daggett Ave, Pawtucket, Rhode Island on October 22 at 11:30 AM.
