Manuel Daniel Botelho Jr

Manuel D. Botelho, 96, of Portsmouth, Rhode Island, peacefully passed away on September 14, 2026 at Dawn Hill Home for Rehab and Healthcare.

Manuel was born in Somerset, Massachusetts on July 3, 1930 to Manuel A. and Mary G. (Medeiros) Botelho. He grew up in Portsmouth where he learned the value of hard work early on as a farmer. In later years he worked for a scrap metal company and as a security guard at Raytheon until his retirement.

He is survived by his daughter Karen Botelho. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary, his daughter Sharon A. Botelho, his brother Joseph Botelho and his sister Evelyn Dupont.

Calling hours will be held at Connor's Funeral Home Tuesday September 22, 2026 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Portsmouth. Burial will be at Portsmouth Cemetery immediately following mass.
