Margaret Anne Samson

Margaret (Peg) A Samson, 79, of Middletown, RI passed away peacefully Saturday, July 21 surrounded by her family at Newport Hospital.She was born to Harold Read and Alice Holden in Providence, RI. She is preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn, first husband James L Hall and second husband Lionel J Samson.She always had a love for camping with friends and family. Her Christian faith gave her peace and she enjoyed being a member of different parishes throughout her life. In her later years, Peg, affectionately called Meme, cherished the everyday little moments spent with her family. Of all the accomplishments in her life she was most proud of her three children. She leaves behind her eldest daughter Cheryl Hall of Somerset, MA, her only son Geary R Hall and wife Kim of Portsmouth, RI and youngest daughter Nichole Samson Pellerin of Providence, RI.Meme also leaves behind her grandchildren, David Craveiro of NH, Ian Craveiro and his wife Rachel of Moultonboro, NH, Kate Brooks and her husband Andrew of Middletown, RI and MSgt Eric Hall member of the United States Air Force.Her love shined most for her great grandchildren, Riley Hall of Middletown, RI, Sean Catalonie of Attleboro, MA, Kingston Craveriro of SC and Alexis Craveiro of Moultonboro, NH.She will be remembered by her family for her strength, perseverance and faith in face of hardships and chronic illness.Special thanks to the staff of Newport Hospital that provided compassionate care this past year.
