Margaret D. Baer

Margaret D. (Dolan) Baer, 94, of Portsmouth passed away Friday, November 10, 2017 at Newport Hospital. Margaret was born in Hillsboro, NH, daughter of the late Viola (Kulbacki) Dolan and Richard DolanMargaret worked as a paraphraser at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. for the Army Air Corps. during WWII. She owned and operated Maggies Glad Rags, a vintage clothing store in Island Park for many years and was also a real estate agent for Gallery of Homes.Margaret leaves her children Cynthia Baer and her husband Steve Haas of Mt. Airy, NC, Gwendolyn Baer and her companion David Buzzell of Bennington, NH and GB Baer of Portsmouth. She also leaves a sister Rachel Belville and her husband Teddy Belville, as well as five grandsons Steve LaFave Jr., Amos Haas, Jesse Buzzell, Gunnar Buzzell and Ethan Haas.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Friday, November 17, 2017 at 10:30 AM in St. Lucy's Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown.
