Margaret Francis Lama

Margaret Pege" F. Lama, 76, of Middletown, RI, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018. Born in Newport, RI to the late Frances Mickey Gonsalves and Margaret Dow. Margaret was the loving companion to Ruth Henderson.In addition to her companion, Margaret is survived by her daughter Dottie Lama, granddaughter Taylor M. Lama-Henderson, grandsons Garrad Lama and Allen Lama and several great grandchildren. Margaret is also survived by her sister Doris Cole and husband Lyn of Texas City, TX and brother Fred Gonsalves and wife Christine of Tiverton, RI; nieces, Sheri Cole, Velvet Coite and Tammy Turner and nephews, Brian Cole, Rob Gonsalves and Michael Gonsalves.She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Tom Lama and brothers Robert Bobby Gonsalves and Michael Mike Gonsalves.Calling hours will be held Monday, November 26 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home 375 Broadway Newport, RI 02840.A funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 27, at 10:00 AM, at Memorial Funeral Home 375 Broadway Newport, RI 02840.Burial will be private.Memorial donations can be made to: Arthritis Foundation, www.arthritis.org
