Middletown, - Marie C. Silveira Sousa, 91, of Middletown, died Monday, October 13, 2003 at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI.She was the wife of the late Anthony Sousa. Born in the Azores, on September 15, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Manuel R. and Mary G. Coelho Silveira.Mrs. Sousa was a member of St. Marys Church. She is survived by her son Richard A Sousa of Middletown, RI, her sister Adeline C. Silveira of Newport, RI, her grandson Richard J. Sousa of Middletown, RI, three nieces and seven nephews.Her funeral will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2003, at 8:00 AM from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian burial at 9:00 AM in St. Marys Church, Spring Street, Newport. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery in Middletown.
