Marie Elaine Dion

Marie Elaine Dion, age 70, of Middletown, died Sunday, April 2, 2017, at Rhode Island Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Marie was born February 11, 1947, in Watertown, MA, the daughter of the late Ernest and the late Concetta (Taverna) Falbo. She was the wife of Paul Dion for 49 years. Marie graduated from Northeastern University as a Registered Nurse and Fitchburg College with a BSN. She worked as a Registered Nurse between caring for her children.Besides her husband, Paul, she is survived by her two daughters: Geralyn Ducady and Angela Dion, her sister, Barbara Richards and two brothers, Frank Falbo and Ernest Falbo, five grandchildren, Corey Ridolfi, Tanya Ridolfi, Jesse Ridolfi, Joshua Ridolfi, and Leona Ducady, as well as five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Michelle Carlton.Marie loved dancing to Elvis, cuddling with her dog Missy, and relaxing at Second Beach. She had a heart of gold, welcomed strangers into her home, and made sure everyone was well fed. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017, at 9:00AM, in St. Lucys Catholic Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown, RI.
