Marilyn Isabelle (Washburn) Murphy

Marilyn Isabelle (Washburn) Murphy, 81, of Middletown, RI, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on June 7, 2025.

Born in Newport, RI, on July 31, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Arthur H. Washburn, Sr., and Madaline (Fuller) Washburn.

Marilyn is survived by her husband of 45 years, John J. "Jack" Murphy, her children, Heather (Haley) Baker and husband Doug Baker, of Newport, Jason Haley and wife Rosemary, of Marietta, Georgia, and her grandchildren, Chase Washburn Baker, Jackson Craig Baker, Aubrey Elisabeth Baker, Austin Washburn Haley, and Madaline Hastings Haley.

A Celebration of Life for Marilyn will be announced at a later date.
