Marion L. Catanzaro

Marion (Papineau) Catanzaro, age 72, ofTiverton, passed away, Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at the Hope Hospice in Providence surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Joseph Catanzaro, with whom she shared 35 years with, before his passing in 2008.

Born on December 31, 1945 in Newport, Rhode Island. She was the daughter of the late Albertand Irene (Reed)Papineau.

Marion loved listening to Elvis Presley, reading books, and taking trips to her second home in Vermont. She will be most remembered for the love she had for her family and how much she enjoyed spending time with them. Marion was a teacher for over 20 years at Headstart. Her passion was taking care of children.

Marion leaves her son DavidPapineau and his wife Jennifer of Foster, RI and grandchildren SeraPapineau, FaithPapineau and Justin Silvia.

She is also survived by her siblings AlbertPapineau, GeorgePapineau, Barbara ODonnell and her husband James ODonnell, ReginaLapoint, Crystal Silvia and her husband Russell Silvia, and JudyPapineau, and was the sister of the late Walter Papineauand Irene Pinky Clark.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, October 17, 2018 from 2:00PM to 6:00PM in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI
