Marjorie D. Flood

Marjorie Dawson Flood, 87, of 11 Division St. Newport, died Wednesday, June 5, 2002 at Newport Hospital.She was the wife of the late Maurice Flood. Born in Newport, RI on September 27, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Myra Langworthy Dawson. Mrs. Flood was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Ladies Group. She is survived by a daughter Louise E. Olsen of West Bay Shore, NY, a brother Raymond H. Dawson of Ft.Lauderdale, FL, her sister Annis L. Spingler of Newport, RI, two grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.She was the sister of the late Herman and Thomas F. Dawson. Her funeral will be held on Friday, June 7, 2002, at 1:00 pm in the Hambly Funeral Home, ?Brick House?, 30 Red Cross Ave, Newport, RI. Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown. Donations may be made in her memory to St. Peters Lutheran Church, Broadway, Newport, RI.
