Mark D. Wilson

Mark D. Wilson of Pomfret Center, CT, formerly of Middletown, RI died unexpectedly on Wednesday January 7, 2009 at the young age of 40. He was the husband of Kelly Roth Wilson and father to Benjamin Harris Wilson.Mark worked in the automotive industry his whole life which was one of his many passions. Most importantly he loved his wife and son deeply. Besides his wife and son, he leaves his father and mother James and Susan Wilson of Bristol, RI, his mother Phyllis Wilson of Middletown, RI, brother Scott Wilson of Newport, RI and his sister Morgan Bina of Maryland. Among others were his MANY nieces and nephews from both his and his wifes families.Mark had the wonderful opportunity to join his wife in the love of horses and became an active member of the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association. The association consists of dressing in 1800s western wear and riding his beloved horse Mad Dash while competing in various mounted events.Mark above all was a loving and caring man who touched the lives of everyone he met. He will be dearly missed but always remembered in our hearts.
