Mary Silvia, 74, of Newport, Rhode Island, passed away on March 22, 2019, at Heatherwood Nursing Center in Newport, RI.
Mary was born November 12, 1944, in Newport, RI to Francis Kelly and Edith (Goddard) Kelly.
Mary enjoyed gardening and knitting, and spending as much time with Justin, as she could. She was an avid reader, she loved Romance novels and a good Mystery. She worked as an administrative assistant on the Newport Navy Base for over 25 years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her
Mary is survived by her sons; Russell Silvia and his wife Crystal Papineau Silvia, of Tiverton, RI and Manuel Silvia III of Hartford City, Indiana. She is also survived by her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy, Justin Silvia, of Tiverton, and Ashley Silvia. She is also survived by her brother Frank Kelly and his wife Marianne of Bradford, Vermont.
At her request, funeral services and burial will be private
