Maureen Elizabeth Pinheiro

Maureen E. Penny Prendergast Pinheiro, 62, of 32 B Ludlow Avenue Middletown, died Thursday, September 5, 2002 at Charlton Memorial Hospital Fall River, MA. She was the wife of Roger Dale Pinheiro. Born in Newport, RI on April 10, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Michael C. and Clara Kozaczka Prendergast. Mrs. Pinheiro worked in private service for various families in Newport. She was a member of the Friends Evangelical Church in Middletown, the Outreach Commisson, the Prison Fellowship Ministries and she was very active in all the church activities. She enjoyed traveling, camping, canoeing and her family. Besides her husband she is survived by her son Jeffrey S. Pinheiro of Newport, RI, two daughters Danette Cabral of Middletown, RI, Tammy Loving of Pinellas Park, FL, two brothers Austin Prendergast of Middletown, RI, and Michael Prendergast of Swansea, MA, her sister Barbara Lewis of Death Valley, CA, seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.She was the mother of the late James Pinheiro. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2002, at 1:00PM in the Evangelical Friends Church, 70 Bliss Mine Road, Middletown. Burial will be private.
