Michael Dean Bragan

Michael D. Bragan, 58, of Portsmouth, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of the late Donna (Brown) Bragan. Born in Norfolk, VA, he was the son of Terrance Bragan and Linda (Gauthier) Kershaw. Michael was a lifelong mechanic and tow truck driver. He worked for many years at Rays Auto Clinic. When he was not working, he enjoyed listening to music and watching NASCAR.

Michael leaves behind his children, Mindy Sousa and her husband Ricardo, Eric Bragan and his wife Elijah all of Fall River, MA, Amanda Harnden and her husband Charles of Easton, MA, Daniel Bragan and his girlfriend Kasey Doyle of Tiverton, Michael Barber of Portsmouth, Jade Barber of Atlanta, GA and his stepdaughter, Alexis Puckett of North Dakota. He is also survived by his grandchildren Brandon, Zacharie, Madisyn and Danika, as well as his siblings Martin Bragan, Kimberly Hudson both of North Kingstown, and Kathleen Kershaw of Jamestown.

Callings will be held Monday, January 28, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 6:00PM in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. His funeral service will follow at 6:00 PM in the funeral home.
