Fall River, MA - Michaela Colleen Neuman, 32, of 1620 North Main Street, Fall River, RI, died Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at home. Born in Newport, RI on May 17, 1976, she was the daughter of Clyde and Colleen Mulligan Neuman.Michaela was a 1995 graduate of Portsmouth High School and a 2000 graduate of Ultra Sound Diagnostics School in Florida and most recently she was studying to be a registered nurse and to work in nuclear medicine. Michaela was an equestrian competing since she was six until the age of 18. She was an Eastern RI High Point Champion three times in a row which no one has done since, was a reserve champion in Huntseat Championship for New England at Eastern States Expositions and she also enjoyed salt water fishing. Besides her parents, she is survived by her grandmother Louise Salmon Mulligan of Riverside, RI, her grandfather John Mulligan of Naples, FL, her sons, Brennan Patrick Neuman of San Antonio, TX and Keegan Sean Neuman of Portsmouth, RI, her daughter Caitlin Brynn Neuman of Portsmouth, RI, and her brothers Brian Clyde Neuman, SSTG, USA, Ranger, ret of San Antonio, TX and Sean Patrick Neuman of Fall River, MA. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at 9:00 am from the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Barnabas Church, 1697 East Main Road, Portsmouth.Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown.Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 13, 2009, from 4-7pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul, St. Barnabas Church, 1697 East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI 02871.
