Michael Edward Watson

Michael Edward Watson of Newport passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017. Michael was a graduate of Rogers High School and service in the US Air Force. He was a longtime employee of the Howard Johnsons in Middletown and considered the management and fellow employees as his second family.Michael is survived by his brother Charles and his wife Theresa of Stonington, CT, his sister Ellie of Newport, and his sister Margie and her husband Robert of Portsmouth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.Donations may be made in his memory to the McKinney Cooperative Shelter, 15 Meeting Street, Newport, RI 02840.
