Nina Caragianis

Nina Caragianis, 85, of Portsmouth, RI, died Wednesday November 14, 2018 at Hope Hospice in Providence, RI surrounded by loved ones. She was the wife of the late John William Caragianis.Nina was born June 29, 1933 in Newport to the late Peter and Mary (Petritis) Daglis.

She is survived by her children, WilliamJohn Caragianis of Portsmouth, RI, Elaine Passa and her husband Arthur of East Greenwich, RI, and Christine Caragianis Broadbridge and her husband William of Cheshire, CT; eight grandchildren, John W. Caragianis of Portsmouth, RI, Samantha Caragianis and Kristina Caragianis both of Portsmouth, RI, John Passa of Norwood, MA, Gregory Passa of New York City, NY, Nicole (Passa) Deitz and her husband Adam of Stamford, CT, Peter Broadbridge and Lydia Broadbridge both of Cheshire, CT; her sisters Angie Borodemos and Stella Volpicelli and numerous nieces, nephews and loved ones.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 with visitation from 10-11:30am in St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church, Thames and Brewer Streets, Newport, with Funeral Services to follow in the Church at 12:00 Noon. Burial will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, 580 Mt. Auburn Street, Cambridge, MA.
