Paul Dennis Seveney

Paul Dennis Seveney, 84, passed away peacefully at Newport Hospital on November 9, 2017.Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Harrison and Mildred (Norton) Seveney. Paul was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a supporter of the Tin Can Sailors. He was a volunteer firefighter at Lincoln Engine No. 2, serving as President and a member of the NJ Exempt Firemans Association. He was a retired steel worker of Atlantic States Iron Works and a past President of the Steelworkers Local 1452. He was the last of a great generation and will be deeply missed.Paul leaves his children Leslie Unangst and her husband John of Newport, David Seveney and his wife Bette of Easton, PA and James Seveney of Dallas, TX. He also leaves his two grandchildren Lauren and HarrisonHe was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters Frederick, Benedict, Gardner, Harrison, Russell, Jeanne and Denise.
