Pauline Gobidas Peter, 73, of Middletown, Rhode Island, died on October 5, 2026. Born in Newport, RI on January 29, 1953, She was the daughter of the late John and Grace (Bullion) Gobidas.

Pauline was a lifelong resident of Aquidneck Island, proud to call Newport home for so many years. She graduated from Rogers High School and began a life full of love, family and wonderful friends, but also persevered through a few health challenges, and along the way, a few (hundred) books were read. Over the years she operated her own business with a friend, a cleaning service called "Dust Bunny Busters", among a few other ventures. One of her favorite jobs was at the former Waldenbooks in Newport. Most recently she enjoyed several years working in several different capacities in Federal Civil Service at the Navy Base. In her free time, she devoured books, enjoyed scrapbooking, and keeping up with family and friends.

Pauline was grateful for being a liver and kidney transplant recipient and was an active advocate for organ donation and a volunteer for the organization Donate Life for many years.
