Phillip Miller

Phillip Ray Miller passed away peacefully at home, on August 3, 2026, at the age of 73. He was born on July 10, 1953, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Paul Miller, Sr. and Audrey Birch Miller.

Phillip was well-known for his protective nature. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, an experience that was an important part of his life. He worked diligently in the housekeeping department at Village House for many years. In addition to his career, Phillip found joy in music, sharing his passion as a member of his own band, the Ghostones. He enjoyed singing and listening to a wide variety of bands.

Phillip is survived by his daughter Philicia Pacheco (Scott) Grimo, his brother Kenneth (Mamie Cowart) Miller, his granddaughters Savannah Pacheco and Autumn DeSa, and his cousin Audrey Dotson Jackson.

Phillip is now reunited with his forever love, Barbara Ann Miller, who predeceased him after 40 cherished years together. He is also predeceased by his parents Paul and Audrey Miller and his brother Paul Miller, Jr.

The funeral services for Phillip will be private.
