Rae Keron Lazar

Jan 10, 1955 — Jul 21, 2026

A life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to family is a life that leaves a lasting mark. Rae "Keron" Lazar, 71, of Middletown, Rhode Island, passed away on July 21, 2026. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, and treasured friend whose generous heart and spirited personality touched countless lives.

Born in Torrance, California, Keron was the youngest child in her family and was lovingly spoiled and cherished. Family was always at the center of her life. She was a devoted wife of 48 years, a loving and proud mother, and found tremendous joy in being a grandmother - Nana.

Keron was a true people person who genuinely enjoyed being around others and making them happy. A people pleaser at heart, she was generous with her time, attention, and affection, and would often go above and beyond for those she cared about - sometimes even a little overboard. It was simply Keron's way: when she cared about someone, she cared wholeheartedly.

Keron had a great love for animals, with a particularly special place in her heart for horses. She also enjoyed caring for her plants and took pride in the things that made her surroundings feel like home.

She had an unmistakable sense of style. A true fashionista, Keron never left the house without looking perfectly put together. She loved the ocean, rides in the car with the windows down, and a good cup of coffee. Fearless and spirited, she embraced life with energy and enthusiasm and was never afraid to be entirely herself.

Above all, Keron will be remembered for the fierce way she loved her family and friends. She cared deeply, gave generously, and made sure the people she loved knew just how much they meant to her. Her warmth, personality, and wholehearted way of caring for others will be deeply missed.

Keron is survived by her beloved husband, James; her sons, Ryan (Tracie), David (Tanja), and Anthony (Jaime); her siblings, Erin, Mike, and Lollie; and her grandchildren, Seth, Hannah, Mason, Dylan, Ethan, and Austin; and the many family members and friends who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Patricia (Hine) Flynn.
