Randall Arthur Perkins

Randall A. Perkins, age 75, of Newport, RI, formerly of Holliston, MA, passed away on December 30, 2019, in Newport. He was the beloved husband of Janet (Kracke) Perkins of Newport.
Randy was born in New York, NY to Kendrick D. Perkins and Janet (Fournier) Perkins. He grew up in the North Haven, CT area. After high school, he served in the Navy on the USS Boxer LPH-4 and then graduated from Quinnipiac College. He worked for many years in finance and banking, primarily with Societe Generale. A warm, generous man, he enjoyed life and was interested in so many things. He loved collecting antiques, good food and wine, travel, sailing, bear hugs and the company of friends. He will be very missed.
Randall is survived by his wife Janet Perkins of Newport, and sister, Cheryl (Perkins) Frizzle, cousins James and Kathleen Perkins and family. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Allan Perkins.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring, 2020.
Memorial donations may be made to the fund for a memorial park bench and plaque.
