Regina Teresa (Yergeau) Bourne, age 58, of Jamestown, Rhode Island died on May 19th. Mrs. Bourne was born January 25, 1959, in Yonkers, New York, the daughter of the late Normand and the late Marion (Preusse) Yergeau. She was the wife of Kevin P. Bourne. Regina was a thoughtful and caring person who could light up a room with her smile and infectious attitude. She loved to spend time with her family and to travel with them. Above all she adored her grandchildren, Cadence and AJ. Regina is survived by her beloved husband, Kevin Bourne, her daughter, Kristen Matheus, her grandchildren Cadence and AJ Santos, stepson Andrew Bourne, her stepdaughter, Amanda Davis, her sister Kathy Yergeau, and her brothers, Michael Yergeau and Jimmy Yergeau. She was predeceased by her daughter, Carrie Matheus, and her brother Charles Yergeau. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, from 8:30-10:00am, in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.Her funeral will be held on Wednesday morning, at 10:30 am, in St. Lucy' Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown, RI. Her burial will follow in St. Columba Cemetery, Brown's Lane, Middletown. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Regina's memory may be made to Ovarian Cancer Research @ Women Infants Hospital, Philanthropy Office, 101 Dudley Street, Providence, RI 02905.
