Ruth Ann Alley

Middletown, RI - Ruth Ann Hartsaw Alley, 75, of 31 Vanicek Avenue Middletown, died Friday, February 4, 2005 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI.She was the wife of the late Lester Lee Alley. Born in Huntington, W. VA on December 26, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Mabel Smallridge Hartsaw. Mrs. Alley was a devoted Navy wife traveling with her husband the late Commander Lester Lee Alley during his career in the Navy. She was also a devoted mother to her children and her dogs Riley and Meyer. She is survived by her son David Lee Alley of Virginia Beach, VA, her daughter Dale Robin Alley of Middletown, RI, and her brother David R. Hartsaw of Pensacola, FL.A graveside service will be held in Newport Memorial Park, Middletown, in the Spring of 2005.
