Sandra Crump

Sandra Crump, 77, of Middletown died Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, RI. Mrs. Crump was born April 21, 1939 in Ilion, NY. She is the daughter of the late Ralph and the late Clara (Cole) Curtis. She was married to Robert Crump for 57years. Sandy worked for Dr. Sullivan DDS as a dental hygienist for over 25 years, and also worked as a tour guide for the Newport Preservation Society for 17 years, which she loved. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and loved spending time with her family and friends.She is survived by her husband: Robert Crump, her children, Carolyn Bjork and her husband Andy of Newport, RI and Steven Crump and his wife Lisa of Basel, Switzerland. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Lindsey Crump, Erica Crump, Daniel Crump, Paige Crump, Emily Bjork, Abby Bjork, Hanna Bjork, and her loving pets, "Max", Jack", "Felix and "Gillie" Calling hours will be held on Thursday May 12, 2016 from 4 to 7 in the Memorial Funeral Home 375 Broadway in Newport.A graveside service will be held on Friday May 13, 2016 at 11am, at Newport Memorial Park Howland Avenue in Middletown.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to Alzheimer's Association of Rhode Island, 245 Waterman Street Suite 306 Providence, RI 02906 or to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care of Rhode Island 1085 N.
