It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sauvita Pair, who left us on January 25, 2026, at the age of 62. Born on February 9, 1963, in Roanoke, NC, Sauvita spent her life dedicated to her work and her passions. A valued member of the James L. Maher Center, she worked tirelessly in the warehouse industry as a pieceworker, always demonstrating a strong work ethic and a willingness to lend a helping hand.
Sauvita was not only committed to her profession, but she also cherished her time engaging in creative pursuits. She found joy in knitting and crocheting, often creating beautiful pieces for family and friends. Additionally, her involvement in the Aktion Club showcased her deep commitment to community service. She was an active participant in a Bible study program at her home and was a devoted member of St. Peter's Church, where her faith played an integral role in her life.
Sauvita is survived by her beloved father, William Pair, and her sister, Melissa Lambert. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, whose lives she touched with her kindness and creativity.
A Cemetery Committal Service will be held at Saint Mark's Cemetery on February 3, 2026, at 1:00 PM, where she will be laid to rest. Prior to this, there will be a Public Visitation at Memorial Funeral Home on February 3, 2026, starting at 10:30 AM.
