Sheryl Rossman OLoughlin, 49, of Middletown died Tuesday, May 10, 2016. She was the wife of Thomas R. O'Loughlin.Born on September 11, 1966 in Manchester, CT, she was the daughter of Edward Rossman and Mary Ellen Rodrigues. Besides her husband of 20 years, and her parents, she is survived by her brother Douglas Rossman and his wife Christine of Tehachapi, CA and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.Sheryl loved education and knowledge, possessing a certificate from Johnson Wales, a certificate and bachelor's degree from Roger Williams and a master's degree from Salve Regina. She loved music and the performing arts. For decades, attending countless classical music, visual art, ballet and theatrical performances. She supported the Preservation Society, Newport Art Museum, Peabody Essex Museum, PPAC, Newport Music Festival and the RI Philharmonic. In her community, she had volunteered for a literacy program, soup kitchen, and assisted the needy and less fortunate. She also supported the Potter League and she rescued two cats, Raven and, her angel, Zoey. She would always volunteer to watch her friends animals as needed.Most of all, she loved her friends, family and the Jesus Saviour community, especially for their support and compassion. She always reached out to friends and family to offer support when needed, congratulate on an event or milestone, or just to send her love. She loved planning dinner parties and lovingly embarrassing her friends on their birthdays.In lieu of flowers, please continue Sheryls support of the needy by donating generously to the St Vincent de Paul Society at Jesus Saviour Church.
