Sr Jane Frances Kane

Sr. Jane Frances Kane, O. Carm. 96, of Newport passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015 at St. Clare Home of Newport, RI. Sr. Kane was born in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Martin and Catherine (Kenny) Kane. Sr. Jane's nephew Jim and the Corpus Christi Carmelites would like to thank her dear friends, especially Janet, Jean Patsy, Ida, Manny, Collette, Fr. Mandato, and Louie for all the love they have shown Sister over her many years of service in Newport. All of her many friends appreciate the kindness and care she enjoyed at St. Clare's Home in the last years of her life.There will be no service in Newport, Sister wished to be interred with her community in Kearney, NE. Memorial Donations may be made to the Corpus Christi Carmelites, 417 West 17th Street, Kearney, NE 68845In the Spring, Jim will invite her friends to a celebration of Sr. Jane's life.
