Stanley Piszcz, Jr. passed away on August 9, 2018, surrounded by family and friends in his home. Stanley was born in Fall River, MA on June 11, 1936. He was married to Bonnie (Siskind) Houle-Piszcz.
Stan was an Air Force and Naval Reserve Veteran receiving training in Amarillo and Lackland, Texas. After the Air Force, Stan worked for the US Naval Underwater Systems Center in Newport, travelling extensively for NUSC to the Bahamas, Virginia, Hawaii, and Washington. Stan continued his career with McLaughlin Research firm as a senior consultant. Stan enjoyed Jazz, photography, woodworking, frequent visits to the Newport Creamery, his beloved Red Sox, and most of all his family, and he loved his dogs, Bogie and Julie.
Stan is survived by his wife Bonnie, five children Teri, Stanley III, Regina Gina, Stacy and Timothy Tim; two Step Children Stacey Houle and Jason Houle. Stanley leaves 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, his brother Daniel and sisters Joyce and Janet, and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 13th in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, RI, with a visitation from 10:00am-12:00noon followed by a memorial service at 12 Noon with military honors.
