Middletown, RI - Susan Blakeley Combs, 65, of Middletown, died unexpectedly on Monday, July 21, 2014 at Newport Hospital. She was the wife of the late "Teddy" Combs. Born in Hartford, CT, on March 17, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Wesley Blakeley and Mary (Teelyea) Blakeley. Susan worked as a Paraprofessional for the Portsmouth School System. She loved crafts especially knitting, the beach and playing Bunko. She is survived by her children, Allan E. Archibald III and his wife Jennifer of Marshfield, MA, and April E. Archibald and her fianc John Donnelly of Bangor, ME, her brother Dennis Blakeley and his wife Debbie of Coventry, CT, and her grandchildren Allan and Isabella. Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 25, 2014, from 5-8pm, in the Hambly Funeral Home, "Brick House", 30 Red Cross Avenue, Newport.Her funeral will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014, at 11am, in Hambly Funeral Home, "Brick House", 30 Red Cross Avenue, Newport.
