Susanne Card

Susanne "Sue" Card, 68, of 95 Linda Terrace, Portsmouth, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday April 21, 2018. Sue was a longtime resident of Jamestown as well as Peace Dale prior to her recent move to Portsmouth. Sue belonged to the Bridges, Inc./Looking Upwards Inc. community since 1986. Sue was a celebrated artist and was known throughout the local art community. Sue as many Rhode Islanders, enjoyed the ocean and found time outside soaking up the sun as time well spent. Sue found pleasure in the simple things in life such as a good cup of tea, home cooking, long leisurely rides, classical concerts, and soft music. Housemates, staff, friends, and those she considered family- Sue leaves behind many people whose life she touched, perhaps without knowing the extent of her impact on each one. A service in her memory will be held on Friday, May 4th, 2018, at 11:00AM, at the Hambly "Brick House", 30 Red Cross Avenue, Newport.Memorial donations in her memory can be made to Looking Upwards, Inc., P.O.
