Tia Tribble

Tia Tribble, born on January 8, 1971, passed away on June 27, 2026, leaving a legacy cherished by her family and all who knew her. Tia was a steadfast presence and a source of unwavering support for her loved ones.

Tia is survived by her devoted husband, Bernard Tribble, who stood by her side for many years. Her life was further blessed through her children: sons Christopher Perry, Mark Gonsalves, Jhamal Gonsalves, and Brandon Tribble, as well as daughters Khayla Gonsalves, Marissa Lopes, Kiera Perry, and Shannon Tribble. Tia took great pride in her role as a mother. Tia also delighted in her grandchildren, Xavien Tribble and Violette Hammod.

Tia is also survived by a great deal of extended family: her brother Denny, Uncle Jim, Uncle Bubba, her step-father Dennis, and many beloved cousins. Her dog and lifelong companion, Bentley, will miss her dearly, but will be well taken care of in her memory.

In her spare time, Tia enjoyed going shopping, doing puzzles, and loved to cook. She and her family have fond memories of vacationing in Vegas and the Bahamas. Tia had a great sense of style, always perfectly matching her outfits to her purse and shoes.

The many lives touched by Tia's warmth now mourn her loss. Her guidance and strength have left an indelible mark on her family and friends, who will remember her as a loving wife, devoted mother, caring grandmother, supportive sister, and cherished friend.

Visiting Hours to honor and celebrate the life of Tia Tribble will be held on July 12, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home, located at 375 Broadway, Newport, RI 02840. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Tia are invited to attend.

Tia was preceded in death by her mother Gloria, her grandfather, and Nana Elsie.
