Wallace Terrence Javelle

Wallace Terrence Javelle, 73, affectionately known as "Teddy" to his family, died on Friday, October 21, 2016 at Orchard View Manor, East Providence, RI. Teddy was born in 1943 at Newport Hospital and was a lifelong resident of Portsmouth, RI. He was a graduate of Warren High School and attended Bryant College in Providence, RI. He was a SP5 in the US Army, serving in Vietnam. Teddy worked as a landscape gardener for B.B. Barker Landscaping for over 40 years.He is the son of the late Louis E. and the late Shirley A. (Martland) Javelle. He is the brother of the late Louis A. "Sandy" Javelle.He is survived by his sister, Lois P. Midwood of Wakefield, RI and his brother Peter A. Javelle of Portsmouth, RI. He is also survived by four nephews, three nieces, one great-niece and two great-nephews.Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 5-8pm at the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road in Portsmouth, RI. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016 at 9am at Trinity Cemetery, East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI.
