William Allen Audette

William Bill A. Audette, 81, passed away at home Sunday November 18th, 2018 at his home under the excellent caring staff of VNS hospice.

Bill was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Nettie Audette, his brother Joseph Audette Jr, and his son Brian Audette.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 28 years Marsha J. Audette whom he met at church when he was a widower.

He is also survived by his son William Audette (of Fall River, MA), his stepson Jeffrey Janke (of Middletown, RI), and his stepdaughter Donnise Janke (of Bristol, RI), his brother Norman Audette (of Fort Worth, TX) and five grandchildren; William Audette, Allyssa Audette, Justin Janke, Lauren Janke, and Zachary Janke. Bill also leaves behind a few nieces and nephews.

As a young man Bill enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. He worked hard to provide for his family as a machine operator and a security guard. Cooking, watching sports football and baseball especially, watching western movies, and watching mystery shows were his favorite pass times.

Bill was a very quiet man, except for when he and his brother shared funny stories from their childhood. Bill was quick with one liners that would make you laugh. Bill had a fantastic memory for past events and facts.

Around 1972 Bill gave his life to the Lord. He remained faithful the rest of his days and prayed for all.

Calling hours will be held on Monday November 26th, 2018 at 9 AM at Memorial Funeral Homes at 375 Broadway Newport, RI 02840. A service in his memory will be held at the funeral home at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Middletown Cemetery (Wyatt Rd, Middletown, RI)
