Newport, RI - William C. Beimler entered into Eternity on December 31st, 2025. He had been the devoted husband of Nancy (Cousins) Beimler for nearly 66 years. Bill was born and raised in New Haven, CT, on September 18, 1935, as the youngest son of Lillian and Raymond Beimler's four children. He attended Hillhouse High School and then Boardman Trade School to become an aircraft electrician. Bill Beimler and Nancy Cousins married on May 18th, 1957 and briefly lived in New Haven and later moved to Wallingford where they raised their family.
Bill became a helicopter electrician at Sikorsky Aircraft and worked there from age 18 until 60 when he retired. He and Nancy realized their lifelong dream and moved to Cape Cod where they enjoyed 30 years of joy.
Together they served "Meals on Wheels" for 16 years in Dennis, MA. They also enjoyed many more years of boating, trips to the beach, being an active part of The Dennis Union Church family, and making wonderful memories with family & friends. Bill was also a devoted member of The Masons, Shriners, and Elks throughout his adult life.
He is survived by his beloved sons; Douglas Beimler and daughter-in-law Melyssa, of Middletown, RI and Jeffrey Beimler of San Diego, CA, and three treasured grandchildren, Madison, Lauren, & Maxwell and Faye, Max's wife; his treasured sister, Sandra, and her entire family. Bill was also a very proud uncle to his esteemed nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by many.
We rejoice that Bill is now reunited with Nancy, his wife, and his son Gregory, who passed at the tender age of 2 ½ years, and his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
Bill's family plans a private celebration of life for immediate family members and memorial service and interment at Beaverdale Memorial Park in New Haven, CT at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to:Expect Miracles, the non-profit that Bill's granddaughter, Lauren works for. Lauren is running The Boston Marathon to raise money for cancer research and grants for young adult cancer survivors.
