Young Ho Ok

Young Ho Ok, 81, of Portsmouth, RI, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024 at home. She was the wife of the late Dong Suk Ok for 46 years.
Born in Seoul, Korea, she was the daughter of the late Chi Chung Chang and Keum Yeo (Hwang) Chang.
Young was a long-time member of Green Valley Country Club and a dedicated member of the Zion Korean Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her family and friends, traveling and gardening.
Young is survived by her children; Patty Wilkinson and husband Jeffrey, of Somerville, MA, Daniel Ok and wife Maria, of Ballwin, MO, her siblings; In Ho Chang, Me Ho Chang, Moon Ho Chang, Choon Ho Chang, and her grandchildren; Kendall, Jack, Gordon, Simon, and Apollo.
Besides her parents, Young was preceded in death by her husband, Dong Suk Ok, and her brother, Chang Ho Chang.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 9 in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI, with visiting hours from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM, immediately followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Newport Memorial Park, Middletown.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Newport Hospital where she worked for 43 years.
