I am so sad to hear of my childhood friend passing away. I have many fond memories of Ray. We used to dance dance dance to all the latest tunes and have a ball while doing it. He would always check me when I was out of step. Rest easy my friend and I will check you out when god comes and get me. You will always be in my heart. Condolences to the family. Love Love Love to all of you.

My cousin Ray, there is so much I could say. He was a gentle giant, he was our go to when we needed something. He was our big cousin that let us hang out with him and also our protector. But most of all he had the most genuine laugh and biggest smile and biggest heart ❤️. Love you always Belinda ...

Dear Family, God bless you all in the loss of your loved one, Ray. As a close friend to some of his first cousins, I can attest to his great sense of humor and easy-going personality. Ray was a very generous man who, in recent years, had given time to helping out at the Rhode Island Community Food Bank. When it would see him, I couldn’t help but think of the smile if his beautiful Mother, Ms. Frances! May God bless you all. Love, Conaky

Dearest Cousin Ray, we knew little that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. I will always remember your warm personality and your joking nature. You were a friend to everyone and always looked out for your family. Since leaving Newport, I didn’t see you as often as I liked but I have fond memories. Rest in love, your cousin Denise Renee Remong Savoy🙏🏽

We're from the same shoot, the same family tree,
into this world we sprouted, call it destiny
It's cousin to cousin, a special thing, a closeness to which we're tied;
and you've always been there to laugh with me...
and you even taught me how to drive.
I think that it's a wonderful thing that you were meant to be a part of my life,
my cousin thru thick and thin and all of life's strife
You will always be remembered fondly and have a special place in my heart.

Of all the many blessings
However great or small
To have had you for a nephew
Was the greatest one of all.
The family chain is broken now
And nothing seems the same
But as God takes us one by one
The chain will link again
Love Aunt Lois

I miss you so much Ray. I'm going to miss us going to the store and you checking to see if there is a riding vehicle for me. You saying to me "So where are we going to eat." We laugh as we stuff our face. I love you Ray with all that I am. Rest now Sweet Angel. 😍😍😍
